WelCome

Welcome to my private practice website. I am a licensed psychologist with extensive experience working with eating disorders/body image, trauma, depression, anxiety, emotion regulation difficulties, family and relationship issues, identity, stress, and life transitions. I am licensed to practice in Connecticut and New York and am licensed by PSYPACT to practice virtual therapy in 38 states, including New Jersey, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Washington, among others. For a complete list of participating PSYPACT states, please check out https://psypact.org.

Psychotherapy can serve as a safe space to work through problems you may be experiencing and can help with areas in which you feel stuck or at an impasse. It can also improve your relationships with others in your life and provide relief when you are suffering. In times of darkness and uncertainty,  psychotherapy can reduce emotional pain and offer an anchor.

I work from a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental approach to help clients meet their goals. I customize my approach to best serve my clients’ unique needs, but tend to work from an integrative therapeutic style that incorporates psychodynamic and relational techniques with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), an evidence-based treatment for a range of mood and emotional problems and interpersonal issues, and accelerated resolution therapy (ART), a trauma-based treatment that works to reprogram the way the brain stores distressing memories through the use of eye movements and reprocessed images and sensations.

I provide individual therapy to adults and adolescents. When appropriate, I provide DBT-informed therapy that includes phone coaching.

In addition to psychotherapy, I have a strong background in psychological testing and conduct neuropsychological and psychological assessments in my practice.
